Accommodation
Relax in our luxurious thatched cottages, with en-suite, sunken handcrafted baths, indoor and outdoor showers, private gardens and terraces overlooking the magnificent Chobe River. Chobe Chilwero Lodge has 15 stone & thatched bungalows, 6 double and 9 twin. Each cottage measures 61 square metres and has its own en-suite bathroom with a large sunken bath, indoor and outdoor showers, private garden, “sala” or private balcony, mosquito nets, ceiling fans, air-conditioning, hairdryer as well as an in-room safe. End each day with a refreshing dip in the swimming pool, followed by a sumptuous meal lovingly prepared by our expert culinary staff - a delicious, eclectic fusion of Western and African cuisine and delicacies - all topped off by a sampling of vintage wines and spirits from our cellar. It's the perfect complement to your one-of-a-kind African adventure. High teas are often served on the lawn under the shade of the trees.

Activities
Game activities at Chobe Chilwero are scheduled flexibly, according to the whims of guests and the changing habits of the game (subject to vehicle availability). Thrilling guided game drives in open vehicles bring you to the heart of Africa's largest concentration of elephants, as well as hippos, buffalos, puku, antelopes, lions and other creatures that gather on the Chobe River's banks. Or join our acclaimed guides on a wondrous water safari on specially adapted motorboats. Sundowner cruises are particularly spectacular on the Chobe River. Fishing excursions are also available.

Children
Chobe Chilwero Lodge accepts children of all ages. No childcare/baby-sitters are provided. Children must be under the care of their parents at all times. No children to share in the Chobe Game Lodge suites. Children aged 16 yrs (inclusive) & younger to share with a parent at all times.
