Mombo Camp is situated on Mombo Island, adjoining the northern tip of Chief's Island, and is within the Moremi Game Reserve in the Okavango Delta in northern Botswana. The island is surrounded by open floodplains and the camp itself is largely built in and around the shade of some large mangosteen, ebony and fig trees - overlooking a wonderful floodplain teeming with game.

Accommodation in 9 luxury twin en suite tents raised off the ground, with breathtaking views over the plains. Bathrooms are en-suite and include indoor and outdoor showers. The main living and dining area is under thatch and there is a boma for dinner under the stars. Large concentrations of plains game congregate in front of the camp and a vatriety of animals may be viewed from the deck. There is a plunge pool for relaxing in the heat of the day.
Activities- game drives are offered
in open 4x4 safari vehicles exploring the savannah and floodplains
where wildlife and
birdlife abound. Game drives are exciting with sightings of lion,
leopard, cheetah, wild dog, elephant, white rhino, hyaena, giraffe,
wildebeest, zebra and large herds of buffalo.
Children
Mombo Camp only accepts
children 6 yrs and over. No childcare/baby-sitters are provided for.
Children must be under the care of their parents at all times.
Please Note: Children 6-12 yrs require the use of a Private Vehicle
and Ranger for all activities - this will be at an additional charge.
