Nitani offers superb cuisine where the chef prepares meals in a finishing kitchen in front of guests, creating individualized menus to cater for clients dietary preferences. Finally owners Shane and Adie ensure that guests enjoy an individualized African experience, where
clients get to share in their passion for the bush.

Accommodation: - There are only five suites at Nitani Lodge – all sumptuous. Each is set on stilts above the Majali River and completely blends in with the environment. Each has its own plunge pool. There are permanent water holes, which means that invariably there are animals to be viewed from the safety and comfort of your suite. The standard of appointments is world class and each suite is totally private.

There is sufficient staff to cater for your every need, but at the same time your privacy is sacrosanct, making Nitani a private Eden.

Nitani provides an individualised experience. Nothing here is regimented or structured and we do everything in our power to
ensure that your stay is spectacular. If you have a specialised
interest in astronomy, birds, butterflies, bugs, botany,
archaeology, geography or any other of the natural sciences, Shane or one of the guides will be delighted to share their knowledge with you.

Our meals are prepared in front of you in a finishing kitchen in the dining room by our Executive chef. Before you arrive at Nitani, a detailed dietary requirement form will be sent to you, to ensure that we cater for your dietary preferences. Gastronomy is an important part of the Nitani experience.
The kitchen is set up to accommodate Halaal, vegan and diabetic needs.

Be pampered in our wellness centre where a trained beauty therapist will get rid of all the stresses and strains of modern day life.

The Honeymoon Suite is sumptuous and private, with a beautiful hand-carved bed and its own rock plunge pool.
It is decorated in romantic creams and whites with furnishings such as a chaise-lounge to suite the decadent mood.

The bride and groom are treated to a complementary massage and a bottle of Cuvee Brut during their stay.

Wellness Centre
Beauty, serenity, tranquility. These describe Nitani’s wellness Center, where guests are pampered by a highly qualified therapist using one of the world leading salon products, Dermalogica. We offer various specialised treatments such as customised facials, full body massages, spa treatments, waxing, manicures and pedicures.

Astronomy
Lie back and absorb the African sky through our computerized telescope, where information on the ancient galaxies are at a touch of a button.

Bush Dinner
Guests are driven to an open plain, which is lit by paraffin lamps, making an unforgettable memory of Africa. Guests can absorb the thrilling night sounds, whilst savouring a meal cooked on the open-coals of a bush fire. This activity is subject to the Season as winds may cause a fire hazard.

Bush Walk
During the summer months the walks are done in the early mornings, and in winter the walk is done after breakfast . The ranger will talk on a variety of subjects ranging from the medicinal uses of certain plants, interesting facts on the fauna and flora of the area and archaeology dating back to the Stone Age.

Specialist Lectures
Archaeology:-Take a time walk back to 255 million years ago and discover early Jurassic Dinasours. Travel through the Crystalline Age, The Stone age, The Iron Age and end up with sundowners at the owners, Shane and Ade’s home.

Ornithology:- Peek into an endless and fascinating world of birds. This lecture is done on request by guests.

Game Drives
Guests are taken on morning and evening drives in open Land Rovers.

Private Dinner or Lunch
Guests can request a private dinner or lunch, which is served on an open deck overlooking a waterhole.

Cultural Village tour
Clients have the option of visiting Mothabaneng Village, where clients are transported on an open game viewer through the village. They will visit the Kgotla (Local Tribal Court) a school, a Lala Palm wine maker (Local wine) and end up under the cliffs on the bank of the Motlouse River for a picnic lunch, surrounded by exquisite bushman paintings. Cost per person US$ 50.00 (US$10.00 per person goes to Mothabaneng Village Council for local citizen upliftment programs.)

Hot Air Ballooning
This is the most romantic way to gently traverse the African Savannah. Flights are approximately one hour in duration and must be booked together with your reservation. Cost per person USD 380 per person for an approximate 45 minute flight, which is weather dependent.

Please Note: This activity needs to be booked at the time of your reservation and a minimum of 4 guests is required for this activity to take place.

Wellness Centre
Join our resident Somatologist in our fully stocked Wellness Centre offering various massage treatments, reflexology, facials, manicures, pedicures, just to name a few. A list of treatments is available in each suite together with a price list.

Private Game Drive
The exclusive use of a private Land Rover can be arranged, subject to availability. Cost US$ 75.00 per empty seat out of 6 seats.
