Accommodation
at Nxabega Safari Camp
are in nine classically
elegant safari tents on
raised wooden platforms all
with own private verandas.
Each tent has an en suite hot
and cold shower,
toilet and is beautifully
furnished with wardrobes,
luggage racks, dressing and
bedside tables. The main
building is elevated and
constructed from local
timber, reed and thatch.

The communal
area consist of a dining room, lounge and
expansive sundecks. There is
also an outside dining and
campfire area, swimming pool,
curio shop and interpretive
center. The camp is a
skillful combination of
opulence and integration with
the environment. The communal
area which includes outside
dining and fireside
facilities and a swimming pool with expansive deck, is
made form local timber, reed
and thatch.
Activities

Your game experiences will
include thrilling night game drives, abundant
bird watching, walks
with experienced guides steeped in knowledge
of the local fauna and flora, cruises by boat and canoe (mokoro) along Papyrus linded channels with water lilies and wild life, formed
by the floodwaters from the Cubang River in the highlands of Angola, then seeping into the fertile sands of
the Kalahari desert. An astounding variety of game is drawn
to the crystal clear water, sable, giraffe, zebra, buffalo, lion,
elephant and of course, hippo, are common in the
16 000 km2 Delta. This is the worlds
largest inland delta, and is also one of the most breathtaking wonders.
Children
Nxabega Safari Camp accepts children of all ages. Regretfully, children 5 years and younger
cannot participate in the regular game drives and mekoro activities.
Children aged 6 to 11 years are accommodated on game drives at the
lodge manager’s discretion. Children 16 years and older can participate
in guided walks and mekoro activities. Childminders can be booked
at an additional cost. An extra bed can be arranged for a child sharing
its parents’ suite. No more than 1 triple is allowed in camp at any
one time.
